What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be a daunting experience… we know because we’ve all been there. You have certain expectations, but also a few uncertainties—What will the music be like? Will the people reach out to me? Will the sermon be long or short, boring or engaging? Will my kids fit in? Will they be safe? Will this church fit our “tastes”?

Please know that we want you and your family to have a warm and encouraging time with us during your first visit. So here’s what you can expect…

When You Arrive

When arriving at GraceLife Bible Church, as a first time visitor, we have reserved parking for you right in front of the church. Our parking attendants will help you navigate your way there… don’t feel awkward in taking a spot because they are there just for you! We have two wheelchair lifts for those needing assistance or who want to bring their baby stroller inside.

Our Welcome

Upon entering our entrance doors, you can expect to be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. They are really nice and pleasant people who are there to serve you in whatever ways you need—they can give you directions to our Education Center where all our kid’s classes are located, to our restrooms, or they can even leave you alone if that’s what you prefer. If you have any questions about our church or if there is any way we can serve you, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our Worship Service

Our brand new Worship Center is spacious and you should have no problem finding a comfortable seat for you and/or your entire family. Our worship services are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (starting on time at 10:00 am) and are for the entire family, although we do provide childcare/Sunday School for children between the ages of birth through 5th grade.

Our praise/music style is a blend of traditional hymns and modern praise music set to a contemporary musical style with the priority given to the biblical truth in each song we sing. There is also a time of Scripture reading and prayer at each service. Once a month, we remember the Lord’s death by celebrating communion (generally on the first Sunday of each month).

The sermons are typically 45-50 minutes in length and seek to instruct the mind as well as engage the heart with the Bible. Every sermon is designed to faithfully teach what the Bible says and to apply it to our everyday lives.

We encourage any and all to come just as they are, so dress however you feel comfortable in a worship service… our church is fairly casual in dress. We are not here to impress anyone, but to be impressed by Someone!

Our Children’s Ministry

From our nursery to our 5th grade classrooms, teachers and workers are committed to your child’s safety and learning environment so that children can learn about the God of the Bible. Our Nursery and kid’s classrooms are nearby the Worship Center and everything is well marked for you to conveniently check in your kids. If you prefer to stay with them, use the Family Center seating to view the service on one of the TV screens.

After the Worship Service

After the service is when the rest of the church family will have an opportunity to give you a personal greeting and say “Welcome!” Enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a tasty donut in our brand new Family Center where the entire church family gathers to fellowship and connect with one another.

Fill Out a Welcome Card

If you choose to do so, fill out a Welcome Card on an iPad at our Welcome Center or online at our website. This will keep your informed of all that is happening at GBC. If you do fill out the card, you’ll receive a personal thank you from our pastor and a member of our congregation.

Our Hope for You

As we mentioned at the start, we know what it’s like to enter a brand new church and not to know a single person. This is why we have tried to make your first visit one that will be pleasant and inviting for you and your entire family. We count it a great privilege to have guests like you and hope to meet you personally in the future!
